CEDR safety calls

The CEDR Transnational Research Programme (TRP) operates through a series of annual transnational calls on topics that address the needs of European road authorities. The aim is to produce research results that can be implemented by CEDR members and contribute to a safe, sustainable and efficient road network across Europe.


COST actions

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. Cost actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to grow their ideas in any science and technology field by sharing them with their peers. COST Actions are bottom-up networks with a duration of four years that boost research, innovation and careers.


DG MOVE calls for tenders

This website publishes negotiated procedures below 135 000 EUR. Topics include all transport policy areas of DG MOVE, including road safety. Open calls for tenders are exclusively published on eTendering.


eTendering

eTendering is an EU institutions’ eProcurement platform. Allowing free electronic access to call for tenders’ documents such as contractual documentation, technical specifications, annexes, questions and answers etc. – including those of DG MOVE -, eTendering effectively represents an added-value extension to TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), the online version of the ‘Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union’.


Horizon 2020 calls

Horizon 2020 (H2020) is the EU funding programme for research and innovation. It is running from 2014 to 2020 with a €80 billion budget. It provides research and innovation funding for multi-national collaboration projects as well as for individual researchers and supports SMEs with a special funding instrument. There are regular calls for proposals, also in the area of transportation and mobility, including road safety.


Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is a €100 billion research and innovation programme that will succeed Horizon 2020. Horizon Europe will incorporate policy missions to ensure the effectiveness of research and innovation funding by pursuing clearly defined targets. The website offers a wide variety of information about the development of the Horizon Europe programme.


Marie Curie actions

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) support researchers at all stages of their careers, regardless of age and nationality. Researchers working across all disciplines are eligible for funding. The MSCA also support cooperation between industry and academia and innovative training to enhance employability and career development. To receive funding, an organisation needs to apply to an open call.
