CEDR safety calls

The CEDR Transnational Research Programme (TRP) operates through a series of annual transnational calls on topics that address the needs of European road authorities. The aim is to produce research results that can be implemented by CEDR members and contribute to a safe, sustainable and efficient road network across Europe.


COST actions

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. Cost actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to grow their ideas in any science and technology field by sharing them with their peers. COST Actions are bottom-up networks with a duration of four years that boost research, innovation and careers.


EU Funding & Tenders Portal

The EU Funding & Tenders Portal is the main entry point for funding programmes and procurement options managed by the European Commission and other EU institutions and agencies. The Portal serves applicants, grant beneficiaries, businesses looking for tender opportunities, experts and a wider community of citizens, policy-makers and investors interested in the outcomes of EU projects.


Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation. Following the Multiannual Financial Framework Midterm Review (MTR) decision, the indicative funding amount for Horizon Europe for the period 2021-2027 is EUR 93.5 billion. It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. The programme facilitates collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting and implementing EU policies.


Horizon Europe 2028 - 2034

As part of the next long-term EU budget 2028-2034, the European Commission is proposing to double the budget of the research and innovation framework programme to €175 billion. The new Horizon Europe will boost Europe’s competitiveness and fund solutions to real-world challenges, from AI that supports doctors, to satellites that protect farmers, to cleaner, smarter ways to move, live, and work.


Marie Curie actions

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) support researchers at all stages of their careers, regardless of age and nationality. Researchers working across all disciplines are eligible for funding. The MSCA also support cooperation between industry and academia and innovative training to enhance employability and career development. To receive funding, an organisation needs to apply to an open call.


TED (Tenders Electronic Daily)

TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) is the online version of the ‘Supplement to the Official Journal’ of the EU, dedicated to European public procurement. TED provides free access to business opportunities from the European Union, the European Economic Area and beyond. Information about every procurement document is published in the 24 official EU languages.
